Complete Burn Solutions
Water-Jel is a water-based, water-soluble gel that draws the heat out of a burn while it relieves the pain, cools the skin, and protects against airborne contamination.

Australian Government Department of Health Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA)

The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), responsible for regulating therapeutic goods including prescription medicines, vaccines, sunscreens, vitamins and minerals, medical devices, blood and blood products, has approved and registered WaterJel dressings as a Class IIb medical device.

The Australian and New Zealand Burn Association

The Australian and New Zealand Burn Association recommend 20 minutes of cool running water applied to the burn as soon as possible. If clean running water is not available, immersion in cool water, application of wet towels or hydrogel or other wet dressing may be useful alternatives for the provision of first aid and analgesia. Click here for the full statement from ANZBA.

Safe Work Australia

Safe Work Australia’s model Code of Practice for First Aid in the Workplace recommends that for companies with workers at risk of receiving burns, a first aid kit should include hydrogel sachets and hydrogel dressing - such as Burn Jel and Water Jel. Click here for Safe Work Australia's Code of Practice for First Aid in the Workplace.
